Side Hustle Productions is an entertainment production company founded in Los Angeles by Deidre Jericho. Since its inception, SHP has remained committed to preserving the legacy of generations of artists and the unsung hero. Focused on providing a unique and immersive experience, SHP operates as an arthouse suite and multimedia production house for content creators across multiple disciplines.

DEIDRE JERICHO
Deidre Jericho is a filmmaker and businesswoman from Los Angeles. Her career began twenty years ago in music publishing, working with some of the most commercially successful catalogs in music- notably Madonna, Prince, Chaka Khan, Tina Turner, and Amy Winehouse. Her path towards becoming an independent filmmaker sort of just happened, after observing some dancers she knew from a dance class she frequented. Fueled by the desire to shine a spotlight on these artists who often do not get the recognition they deserve, Deidre became inspired to make a documentary called “Life In Eight Counts,” which tells their stories. This would ultimately lead to the official formation of Side Hustle Productions in anticipation of producing other projects beyond the documentary. Deidre has studied directing at UCLA and also Film and Television at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts.

Maga Flores is a mixed media visual artist originally from San Francisco’s historic Haight Ashbury district. A multi-talented creative, Maga comes from a multi-cultural and artistic background which includes acting, producing, casting, photography, design and PR.
